As usual, I was off for a long time, so I've better to come with something good, I think I did. I started a new project which allow people to access the content of wikipedia from their DVD or HDD without the need of internet access.
The code is released under GPL. The project is hosted on Google Code, http://code.google.com/p/eclipsedia/
Technically, the project is Eclipse RCP. It uses Apache Lucene for the search functionality. It support Arabic and English out-of-the-box.

OK... I am very excited about that... now you can develop and run Java programs in 100% open source environment.
According to TIOBE (http://www.tiobe.com/index.php/content/paperinfo/tpci/index.html), Java is the most poplar programming language, with a market share about 20%. C is coming next with 15% market share. C# is the 8th with market share 4%.
Open sourcing Java will make it possible to include it in the free Linux distros such Fedora, Ubuntu and openSuse. IMHO, that will have a big impact on both Linux and Java.
